McKinsey
The Project
The Challenge
McKinsey were launching a new AI product to help their clients modernise complex legacy tech systems. The challenge was to explain something genuinely advanced in a way that felt clear, credible and useful, without drifting into vague AI hype or overly technical jargon.
The film also needed to work in a lot of different places. It had to introduce the product to new clients, support sales conversations, and hold its own on big screens at major global tech events. In short, it had to look and feel like something serious organisations could trust.
Our Approach
We kept the focus on what the product actually does and why it matters. Instead of leading with buzzwords, the story centred on real outcomes: simplifying legacy systems, speeding up transformation, and helping organisations move faster with less risk.
Visually, we combined clean, confident cinematography with simple, well-crafted motion and product moments to make the technology feel tangible rather than abstract. Filming in the McKinsey offices in NYC gave the film a sense of scale and momentum, reinforcing the idea that this was a global product built for enterprise-level impact.
The aim was to showcase the complexity of the AI product whilst keeping the explanation top level enough to appeal to all audiences. It needed to feel premium and forward-looking, but still easy to follow for senior decision-makers who care about practical results.
The Impact
The video became a key part of how the product was introduced to new clients and partners. It was also used across major global tech events including AWS re:Invent where it helped attract attention, start conversations and drive interest in the platform.
Beyond the initial launch, the film set a strong benchmark for how McKinsey communicates complex AI products, giving teams a clear reference point for future launches and helping keep the message consistent as the product continues to grow.
