The Project

To encourage younger audiences to engage with their wishes around Organ Donation, we gave historical deaths a comedy tone in this unique project. We were responsible for the full creative conception and production, and the project was a huge success with over 6 million impressions on NHS social media channels, sparking countless conversations.

Insight + Strategy

Death and organ donation are complex topics to discuss. We felt that by taking historical figures who had died in unusual and interesting ways, we might be able to add some levity to the situation and make people realise that death is a normal part of life that can happen at any time, so we should think about our choices for organ donation while we can.
