EPSON – EcoTank
The Project
We worked with EPSON to create two identical commercials serving two separate markets, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We shot both commercials side-by-side with the same story but different costumes serving traditional and western markets.
Challenge
Our core challenge was creating the videos for two separate markets, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While the content remained the same, the client directed us to shoot the commercial with the main character wearing a western dress and a traditional dress, essentially shooting double the amount of content.
Insight + Strategy
We created an efficient strategy that would lower the potential number of set turnarounds and changes in between takes without causing lots of changes for our lead actor. By creating an efficient conveyor belt system, we made two commercials identical in shot composure, type, and style but with the appropriate costumes for each market territory.
