Asda x Michael Bublé – Pop the Bublé
The Project
We supported the social content for Asda's 2023 Christmas campaign featuring Michael Bublé. Partnering closely with Havas, who produced the TVC campaign, we sculpted the social campaign around teasing Michael's appearance before it launched. Our social assets dropped clues to the celebrity reveal onto the brand's social feeds before the man himself was eventually revealed in our hero content featuring Michael and Asda shoppers interacting.
Challenge
To ensure the content fits the same world as the headline Christmas TVC campaign while keeping it bespoke for social. The timeline for this project was incredibly tight with it being conceived and shot within 10 days. We also had to shoot it around active shoppers in a live Asda store, creating significant production hoops to jump through.
Insight + Strategy
We worked tightly with our partner agency to deliver the project at pace, completing the shoot within 10 calendar days from brief to wrap. Blending professionally shot content with a UGC style, we ensured the final product sat well within social channels and felt connected to the broader Asda campaign.

Just wanted to send another big THANK YOU for the superbly done job yesterday! It was a really well organised, greatly managed and most elegantly executed shoot! I was also very impressed with the cast- they all looked spot on- as well as with all the crew. Considering we had less than a week of pre-production, and the creative changed on Tuesday, with a significant impact, I do have to sing you all praises for a fantastically done job!
