Sunday Treat video production in New York

Creative video agency in New York.

We’re the video team New York brands call when the brief is bigger than a deliverable, when a film has to launch a brand, move a category, or carry a creator-led campaign across nine markets. London-rooted creative team, US-based crew, working across the Tri-State.

Video production for New York brands

Video production in New York sits at the centre of American brand work. Much of the American work in our reel was briefed here. Most of our American crew network was built here. And most of the things we figured out about running a remote-native creative agency on US briefs, we figured out by working with NYC clients first.

But we’re not a New York agency. We’re a London creative team that’s built a continuous US production capability - most of it East Coast - that lets us deliver brand work across NYC and the Tri-State without the agency-of-record overhead. Our creative team holds the brief. Our US production network handles the shoot. Most weeks it looks like a London director and a New York DP on the same call, building the same film.

Around 40% of our work now happens across the Atlantic, and our US office is led by Pierre Jampy, a New York-based Creative Director who has lived and worked in the city for years and knows its production scene inside out. The American names in our reel include Google, Snap, J&J and Anthropic.

Why brands in New York work with us

NYC isn't one market. It's four overlapping ones, and the brief reads slightly differently in each.

Brand and creative agencies. NYC has the densest agency cluster in the US. Most of our New York work comes in via an agency partnership - we sit alongside the agency-of-record as the production partner, holding craft and shoot delivery while they hold strategy and account. The split is usually clean: they brief us, we make the work, they take it back to the brand. Discreet white-label production for the agencies that don't have an in-house team, and a creative bench for the ones that do.

Fashion, beauty and lifestyle DTC. The DTC consumer brand cluster in New York is one of the densest in the world - small-batch CPG, sustainable fashion, beauty challengers, supplements, fitness brands. The work tends to be founder-led, talent-led, or category-challenging. The reference points are Aesop, Glossier, Recess, Athletic Greens. We bring that craft brief pre-loaded.

Fintech, SaaS and B2B tech. NYC is the biggest fintech hub outside SF. The work is brand films for funding rounds, customer-evidence films, IPO-day comms, and product-launch films that need to read seriously to a Wall Street audience and warmly to a consumer one. We've been building this kind of work for years.

Media, entertainment, and talent-led campaigns. NY's entertainment industry produces a steady stream of brand collabs, talent-led campaigns, podcast trailers and premiere films. We've made the Revolut x Grace Beverley series, the Lipton Slurp Squad, and most of our talent-driven work for and around brands operating in this orbit.

The New York scene is expensive and heavily unionised, and it can be hard to find indie filmmakers who keep the energy up and the client happy on a sensible budget. That is the gap we fill: we bring the right people to the right shoot and run pre- and post-production through our London hub, so we come in leaner than a comparable New York shop without dropping our creative ambitions.

Find the fun isn’t a slogan for us - it’s how we run a set, and American clients feel it from the first call. Around 40% of our work is now made in the States, shot everywhere from New York to Nashville to San Diego, with our own US entity handling the crew, the insurance and the paperwork. We’ve spent years building networks of American filmmakers who are talented, energetic and down-to-earth. We regularly pitch against the big US agencies and come in leaner - with higher creative ambition.

On location across the US

Two-camera interview setup on a Sunday Treat brand shoot

We have production networks all across the US, with recent shoots in New York, LA, San Francisco, Nashville, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Washington DC, San Diego, Portland, Seattle and Salt Lake City. Every project runs on our split-crew model: a creative lead from our core team holds the brief and the find-the-fun ethos, working alongside US-based crew we’ve spent years getting to know - people who aren’t just talented, but energetic and down-to-earth on set.

Pre-production and post run through our hub team, which keeps budgets lean and quality consistent - whether the shoot day is in New York or anywhere else in the country.

How we make video for New York brands

The process is the same one we run from London - the only difference is which side of the Atlantic the crew steps off the truck on the shoot day.

  1. Creative brief. One conversation, two outputs: the brief we work from and a one-page agreement of what success looks like.
  2. Research. Customer interviews, competitor reels, category audit. Forty-eight hours, not four weeks.
  3. Strategy. The single most important thing we get right - what this film is actually trying to do, and what it shouldn't try to do.
  4. Creative development. Treatments, scripts, storyboards. We bring two routes, you pick one.
  5. Production. The shoot day in NYC or the Tri-State, with US-based crew. Director, producer and editor on the call all the way through.
  6. Distribution + performance. Cuts for paid, owned and earned. The distribution plan is part of the brief, not an afterthought.

Google x Shake Shack: we sat down with Shake Shack's marketing team at a flagship New York restaurant to unpack their rollout of Google's Web-to-App Connect and the returns it drove, capturing the conversation alongside b-roll of the burgers the brand is built on. Frequently asked questions

Do you have a New York office?

We don't keep a leased office in NYC, and we wouldn't recommend choosing a video partner on that basis alone. We're Delaware-registered with US-based crew across the Tri-State, and we work the way most of our New York clients prefer - one creative team holding the brief, multiple crews servicing the shoot, no overhead in your fee. We hold the same kind of relationships with NYC studios and post-production houses we've worked with for years.

How much does video production in New York cost in 2026?

Every project is scoped individually - deliverables, shoot days, talent and post-production all move the number, so we don’t publish a fixed rate card. What keeps our budgets lean is the split-crew model: senior creative direction from our core team, US-based crew on the day, and pre- and post-production run through our hub rather than billed at big-agency rates. We regularly pitch against large US agencies and come in leaner. Tell us your budget and we’ll tell you honestly what it can buy.

Can you handle large NYC ad campaigns?

Yes. We've delivered eight-cut social campaigns, hero films plus a full cutdowns suite, and integrated brand-and-performance work for clients with substantial annual content budgets. The only thing we don't do is broadcast TV ad-buying - we make the spots, you place them through your media agency.

Do you work with creative agencies on a white-label basis?

Frequently. A meaningful share of our New York work comes through agency partnerships - we hold craft and production, they hold strategy and account. We're set up for clean white-label delivery: signed under-NDA, your creative team briefs ours, the work delivers under your brand. We won't put our logo on the case-study deck if you'd rather we didn't.

How fast can you turn a New York shoot around?

Standard timelines: kickoff to first cut in 4-6 weeks for a single-day shoot, 8-12 weeks for a campaign film. We can compress for time-sensitive briefs (campaign launches, talent windows, news-tied brand films). A typical fast-turnaround shoot for us runs about 10 working days across two weeks.
